Around Victual Still Hungriest

In November 2007, it is going on fourth month for us in Malaysia. The date is on thirty of the month. We will get salary on 5th into every month. The balance’s near zero to all. Everybody has sent the money in hometown because they have a step to paying their dues that is in the Bangladesh. There are unknown that people came in the Malaysia except borrowing amount on interest. We were working in the McDonald restaurant. That is ground floor of sunrise tower near Gurney Drive in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. The pulau pinang is the old capital of The Malaysia. Each day, we are to work for 12hours in There. The agent is paying us 600 Ringgits (198.3798 U.S. dollars) as one month salary. We can go for rest two times. That’s for 30 minutes every times, but what victuals we get for dine, it is able to fill barely 30% hunger.

I was working in McDonald restaurant on knight shift recently, more one person has with me in knight shift. His name is Siful and my name’s Azmal.

I get up 3pm after 5 hours sleeping. Some bugs Roam around between me and Siful.  see it after getting up. The stomachs of them were filled by blood. Siful is sleeping hardly. Two bugs are taking blood from him hand. I kill them. Wash my hand and face by shop. now i felt so hungry because i ate one egg burger and tee at 6am.i go to kitchen. There are only rice, green chilli and a few onions. I enter in bathroom for bathe after cooking rice. Siful asks me at first after awaking up. 

Siful: “ what’s day today.”

Azmal: “it’s Saturday maybe, A wrong’s on the way for you.”

Siful: “No, it’s busy knight for us huh.”

Azmal: “you’re alright, but no choice in there.”

Siful: “i’m feeling so hungry right now. you know that.”

Azmal: “yes, the rice is cooking for you, don’t worry.”

Siful: “what’s with rice more.”

Azmal: “many things, it’s onion, salt and freely water…”

Siful and me  ate the rice by onion and salt as our lunch…

The time is at 11pm. It is a busy knight for McDonald Restaurant because Sunday is public holiday in the Malaysia. I began the work from 10pm. two local kitchen crews are unfit for working. They already submit medical certificate to Restaurant manager. many customers here now, most of customers are young generation lover and beloved. They came here with being couple. Some couple are kiss in front of counter. The place is too noisy right now. The time is at 3am. all foods have to throw now, that did not sale. The items of breakfast have to arrange from just now. I already began working in basin. Mostly time i have to work in basin when I get the night shift. I throw a few burgers in the plastic rubbish sack without uncovering box. There are many rubbish sack. I remembered of the rubbish sack, in which I kept the food. i washed out every things after 4 hours working there. Who work in basin, he have to throw all rubbish sacks. It is McDonald’s restaurant procedure. The dustbin keeping place is a little far from restaurant. I was already feeling so tired, also feeling hungriest, but I don’t have any way. I must have to work until 10am. i got first breaking time at 11 pm. And i will get second breaking time at 6am or 9am. there are 5 rubbishes sack totally. Now I’m sweeping slowly in basin area because of weak. One manager saw it, he comes to me and tells. “you want to work or not. why you try to do hanky-panky. it’s means you’re lazy.do you think you’re working here as a volunteer? If you work here such slowly way then I have to call your agent. do you want i do it ? I am just silent. Manager asks me. “you  go to throw  all the rubbish sacks , do it hurry up.”

I just listen to manager’s stories, but I never answer in there. All sacks Took away in order by turns. I signed that sack which inside have a few burger with covering box. I get stinking after opening the plastic sack. All Foods are close to spoil now, still I take to dine one  spicy chicken deluxe from the plastic sack. I often eat food like this. Someone never knows about it even me any friend. The dustbin place is at car parking. Just that time one manager is coming to parking the car. hei s seeing me from far . I am dining the burger. i did not see him. Suddenly, he is in front of me. “you steal the food from restaurant.” he asked me loudly.

I answer him with scare. “i didn’t steal any food.” After that he tells me with so angry, “you’re going to say I’m a cheater”. He punches on me head and body with using all power for five times by turns. I fall down on floor. Then I was feeling the world’s moving around me.
